I want to reject my package!
No matter how innocuous the circumstances, rejecting receipt of a package is considered returning the package without our consent and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee ($5 minimum). Any fees and shipping charges incurred will be re-billed to the customer and may be deducted from any applicable refund amount.
We understand the situational nature of changes that motivate the urge to reject a package, however the proper way to return a package to us is to follow our return policy.
Unfortunately, the return fees for refused packages can cost us quite a large unnecessary burden, and as per our sales policies which are accepted prior to checkout, they are the customer's responsibility and deducted from the order refund amount as standard procedure in the event that a package is refused or sent back without an iFixit return authorization.
In many cases, a rejected package costs us more than the cost of the order, so if the package is not claimed then we cannot issue a return authorization number, nor would we like the package back due to the associated prohibitive costs.
