What are the shipping restrictions for orders containing dangerous goods?

Are you considering ordering a dangerous good from iFixit? Please read below to learn about the restrictions that are in place as these restrictions may affect your repair plans.

Due to shipping regulations, we can only ship dangerous goods to physical addresses inside the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) via Ground shipping methods (Saver or Standard). We cannot utilize air shipping methods for shipments containing dangerous goods. Orders containing dangerous goods cannot be delivered to Post Office boxes. iFixit Customer Support will contact you if your order needs to be modified before shipping is complete.

We are working with our carriers to improve package transit times and we apologize for any inconvenience if this delays your repairs.

Saver and Standard Shipping

This is the only shipping method we can use for orders containing dangerous goods. The package will be transported via Ground methods only to ensure safety of the carrier.

We are required to indicate that your package contains a dangerous good for safe transport and handling. This can cause your order to undergo additional safety inspections to ensure the contents are in safe condition for transport. This may also cause irregular tracking updates and delays while in transit. We apologize for the inconvenience if your order is affected by delays.
