iPod Touch - White Screen

If, upon installation of the iPod Touch, and booting up the iPod Touch you are greeted by a white screen, fear not. The below shall help you. 

This is a common issue, relating to static buildup from transit and handling of the screen. We recommend draining the battery to zero by playing music or something similar using the headphones or voice control, and then powering on the device again by charging it back up. 

As alternative, you can try desoldering the battery from the board, and then desoldering it back.
