The Yellow Light of Death Fix Kit is not a guaranteed fix for a Yellow Light PS3, but it is the best solution short of a full replacement.
You can try doing the reflow again, which has helped a few people, and may even help you.
If you aren't using a heat gun, we really recommend using a heat gun, as a hair dryer won't typically work.
